Boy Style at the #NSale

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

I may or may not be freaking out over the fact that school is about to start.  I haven’t even begun to do back-to-school shopping.  Thankfully, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going on strong.  Well, for the next few days at least.  These are the items Damian and I picked out.  He’s really into football and basketball right now so most of his picks are very athletic inspired.

I really love these distressed straight leg jeans.  They’re a really nice mix of rugged and “too cool for school.”

This Nike training top would be perfect for a California fall.  Not too heavy, perfect to workout in, and still looks fly.

Do you use the #NSale as part of your back-to-school shopping regime?  Hurry before these items sell out!  I’ve missed out on lots of my faves because I waited too long.  Oy!

Our Favorite Part of the Day

The holidays in Davis are much different from many parts of the country.  The leaves are now falling and snowflakes are nowhere to be seen.  I may miss having a little blanket of snow, but the weather is perfect for walks with my coconut!  Instead of snowball fights our favorite holiday family activity is bonding during walks.

head to head

Walking around town is one of our favorite ways to stay active and spend time together.  We try to walk to school everyday, with the exception of the ever-so-hectic mornings, and to the playground on weekends.  Our walks are near and dear to my heart.  I won’t be walking to school with him forever.  One day he will be “too old” for that.  Every single second I get to cherish with my coconuts is a moment I want to remember forever.  He starts everyday with “today is going to be a great day”!  That mindset is so special and makes our talks even more enjoyable.  I love hearing about what went well for the day, what he loved, what he learned, and what he is looking forward to.

#ImagineSpring With OshKosh B’Gosh

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh B’Gosh. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

It’s finally Spring!  I know I haven’t had to deal with snow like many of you, but there is just something about Spring that feels like a new chapter.  Flowers are blooming, trees are filling with leaves, and the Davis Farmer’s Market starts up their family nights.  Spring is about enjoying the outdoors and experiencing everything like it’s new again.  We have started to wear shorts around here again and the first thing I did was head to my local OshKosh B’Gosh store.  If you have been reading Glam Hungry Mom for a while then you know how much I love them.  The quality of the clothes are phenomenal, the styles are fresh, and I never fail to find inspiration from the beautiful store displays.
