We’ve had our Chewie for six months now. I can’t even believe it’s been that long! We love him so much even though raising a pup is hard work. For the first year ever, I made a BOO kit for dogs. I decided to make an easy DIY dog treat jar. You can easily customize it too!
To start, all you need is a clean mason jar, glue gun, chalk board spray paint, and a skull figurine.
You can easily use a ghost, pumpkin, or even a dog figurine instead of a skull. With your hot glue gun, apply the glue to the bottom of the skull and press on top of the jar lid.
Head outside to apply the spray paint to the outside of your jar. The dog I was BOO’ing was a small dog so I had a smaller jar. If BOO’ing a larger dog, use a larger jar.
I applied two coats of paint to get the results I wanted. Make sure the paint is completely dry!
Customize the jar with a message or the dog’s name. Now, time to assemble the BOO kit!
In my BOO kit, I used PEDIGREE® MARROBONE™, PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX™, CESAR® SAVORY DELIGHTS®, and American Greetings® gift bag and tissues.
Place it all in the Halloween themed American Greetings® gift bag along with a printable BOO’d card to include in your bundle. It includes all the instructions you need to BOO it Forward.
Leave your BOO bundle on the front door of a pet you love or even at their owner’s desk.
I picked up everything I needed for my BOO kit at Walmart. Be sure to stop by yours or order online to get everything you need to BOO It Forward!
