We recently celebrated Paxton’s 3rd birthday and now it’s time to start planning Damian’s 7th.  His SEVENTH, people!  Am I old enough to have a seven year old?  Well, duh.  Side note: one of my favorite moment was when a little girl asked if I was his sister.  I’m praying I get asked that question when I end up moving him into his college dorm.  Ha!

Now that Damian is in school, spending quality time with him is even more important.  Yes, we still have mommy/coconut dates.  Ever since he started 1st grade it’s like everything has changed.  He has become more and more independent from reading his books to playing with his friends.  Luckily, he still wants to be with his mama for now.

Me: Bomber // Pants //Shoes (similar)
Damian: Bomber // Shirt // Pants // Shoes

Along with his independence is his own sense of style.  He is very particular about which clothes he wants to wear and which ones he doesn’t.  He has a very casual, cool style that I really love.  Our low-key styles are actually pretty similar right now.

Damian picked all of his clothes out and I worked my outfit around his.  Boohoo recently launched their kid’s line, and asked what we items wanted for a mommy and me feature.  It was so hard because everything is so fly!  I love that everything he picked out can easily be mixed and matched with other items in his wardrobe.

His high top trainers go with practically anything – so classic.  His space dye joggers are comfortable and stylish.  I want a pair of my own!  He pairs it with his favorite tees and or jacket depending on the weather.  bombers-and-sneakers

His baseball tee is my favorite.  It just kinda screams cool.  Plus, he’s such a sports nut!  This bomber jacket has been his go-t0 in this California fall.

I got my bomber jacket and pants at boohoo as well.  The jacket is so well made and extremely affordable.  I will get lots and lots of use out of it.  The pants were a lot shorter and not as baggy as I thought they would be.  They are still super cute as you can see and worked perfectly with our mommy and son style.

Do you ever like to match your kids (without being matchy matchy)?
