Naked Basics Eye Tutorial

Hey guys!  I sent out a tweet and a little facebook post late last night asking if you guys wanted to see a tutorial or recipe today.  The tutorial won by 2 votes so here we go!

I got a lot of requests to do a tutorial on the eye look from my Q&A Vlog.  It’s a simple eye makeup look from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. What I love about this look is you can easily transition it from day to night.  Going out after work?  Just darken your crease, lighten your inner corner, and maybe touch up the liner.   How perf is that?

Products Used:

     Primer – bareMinerals Prime Time
Foundation –  Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in 153
Concealer – NYX HD Concealer in Medium
Powder – Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder
     Bronzer – Hoola by Benefit
Blush and Highlight – Nuance Cheek Trio in Mauve

Brows – Anastasia Brow Wiz in Brunette
Shadows – Urban Decay Naked Basics Eye Shadow Palette (Venus, Foxy, W.O.S., Naked 2, Faint)
Liner – Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liner in Perversion
Mascara – Josie Maran GOGO Mascara
     Lashes – Ardell Glamour 110

Lipstick – MAC Sheen Supreme in Asian Flower

I’m loving adding video to blogging.  So much so that I joined the Vine app.  I have an addiction with social media.  Follow me at: Glam Hungry Mom

Do you guys like the pictures to go with the video or do you just watch the tutorial?

  • I’m your newest follower, and am so happy to have found your blog. We have some things in common. I’m from MA, my husband works for a college (in RI), and I LOVE Sephora. Unfortunately I’m probably the worst at doing makeup that you’ll ever find, but I still love a good beauty product. I loved reading past posts here and look forward to more in the future!
